Pizza Casserole
Pizza Casserole
One of my kids favorites and its a welcome change from traditional pizza.
1 cup marinara sauce or 1 jar prego pizza sauce
1/2 lb hamburger
1/2 lb ground sausage
Pinneapple chunks
Tomato roughly chopped *omit if using prego pizza sauce
Olives sliced
Mushrooms slices
1 cup mozerella cheese
1 jiffy pizza crust mix
Feel free to add other veggies or cheese I also love to do this with spinach and feta 🤤
Brown your meats drain grease then add marinara sauce and tomatos
Add to the bottom of a 13x9 pan was heated throughout.
Top with toppings - olives pinneapple mushrooms then cheese .
Then mix your jiffy pizza crust. Now this is typical thick and you dont want too runny but you.dont want it thick like your rolling crust either I have found that a 3/4 cup of water with cover **most ** of the casserole leaving some holes. You could use 2 mixes if you love crust.
Bake at 350 for 25 -30 mins
If you get grease use a couple slices of bread to soak it up before dishing up. This was gone by the end of the night . Me the oldest and hubby had 3rd second and youngest had 2nds

If you try this recipe I hope you enjoy it as much as we did !
Distance Spring Week 1 - Pack of Wolve's
I think by now, everyone is going stir crazy thanks to COVID . It's been rough however I am quite thankful for the extra time it's given me with my kids. My youngest has a speech imediment and unfortnatly hadn't been making much progress in traditional school who has improved significantly over the summer and last year at home, with things finally opening up we are hoping to be able to add more outdoor adventure's to our days but for now we are still continuing Distance Learning.
Now we are changing up our style from daily reading , math and science . We are alternating weeks as themed weeks.
This week we are doing Wolves.
I have planned educational video's , crafts, a book with a companion craft and a yummy treat !
I will return to post as we do things this week but to start we are watching Wolves saved yellowstone and doing this worksheet and craft .
You can watch the video too here
If youd like to do the craft and worksheet you can find them on these sites.

I'm excited to do distance learning a little different because concentrating on one subject that the kids are really interested in seems to keep them engaged and ready to learn. It also makes it easier to incorporate each subject more throughly without the time crunch of trying to fit them all into one day.
I can't wait to update this post and show our completed craft as well as other progress !
To add to this week we will be sure to learn all the different types of wolves not just one species !

New Beginning's
2020 was
Unexpected.
Exhausting.
Unbeleivable
& yes somehow it has given so many of us a new appreciation for what we had begun to take for granted. Time with one another, seeing and visiting loved ones, the ability to go places or do things.
I think I and many others have romanticized 2021 , and honestly I'm here for it.
If we romanticize thing's like early wakeups, laundry , grabbing a afternoon coffee or even just small worldly improvements we can find and live in happiness vs peril and sadness.
Of course COVID isn't gone, and things are far from normal or perfect. However even through it all we have learned one thing and thats during the hard time's if we work together instead of against one another we can accomplish more and see more good happen than bad.
2021 for me so far has been a year of changes. I have left my old blog , Taste, Write , Bite behind and decided to start this one. For now weekly posts that will have varying subject's , from projects that I am tackling, crafts and activities with my kids for other parents to do , cooking and product reviews.
I also opened a small Jewelry business and started a new hobby making sticker's. I absolutely love how life is going right now but we do have a move approaching and any move through a kink in general routines.
I look forward to being able to do more while finishing out distance learning and entering one last long summer.
One fun thing we have been tackling as a family is participating in 1000 hours challenge. 1000 hours outside during the year. I hope to make it a annual feat. I love the idea and thoughts behind it and after spending nearly a year inside its about time to enjoy the outdoors!
I look forward to the new journeys and adventures ahead.
In the meantime I'm going to make some cocoa with the kids and enjoy our cozy home in the Evergreen's.
